You're not a bad person - she just didn't handle it well at all, it sounds like. I've encountered a teacher who was so OCD I had to change my fabric choices to participate in her class. I'd wanted to put light stars on darker fields instead of dark stars on lighter fields for a Hunter's Star class. Oh, well - She just had her routine and needed things to be "just so" to keep it all together, I suppose. I hope your retreat helped pick you back up!
